So at DA, theres a HTTYD comic called The Last Night Fury. Hiccup and Toothless appear in it (though many years have past and Hiccup is an adult; im not sure about this but I still like the comic.). So the story is about a Night fury called Eli (the OC of the comic's author. I think it pretty much narrates his life. The comic is still being worked on. Well here it is by chapters:
